Water filters work in your Drinkwell 360 by removing unsavoury tastes and smells from water. Since tap water is treated to ensure it is clean it often gives off a chlorine smell and taste. Whilst this is perfectly harmless it may deter your cat or dog from drinking an adequate amount of water.
